Silve​​r Chain Walpole Branch Committee and the Walpole Healthy Community Forum ​​

The Walpole Healthy Community Forum consists of a cross section of the Walpole community, the Silver Chain Primary Health Remote Area Nurse, and a Shire representative. It is an opportunity for community members and Silver Chain to come together to discuss health issues and implement strategies to improve health service delivery in the area. The Forum meets several times a year or more frequently as required.

​Walpole and Districts Local Drug Action Gr​​oup

Since 1993, the Walpole and Districts Local Drug Action Group (LDAG) has played a strong role in promoting the dangers of Drugs and Alcohol. Walpole CRC Trainee Linda Beard is currently the Chairperson of Walpole and Districts' LDAG. LDAGs work in partnership with the Government of Western Australia.

Walpole Country Club is a volunteer-run club offering a range of golf and bowls events, situated approximately five kilometres from the heart of Walpole on the edge of the Walpole Inlet. We invite players to our challenging 18 hole golf course, year-round synthetic bowling green, and Club House with its spectacular views of the Walpole Inlet.

​Walpole Seniors Computing Group

Walpole CRC hosts the Seniors Computing Group each Thursday afternoon from 1pm - 4pm during school terms.

Walpole Volunteer Fire & Rescue Serv​ice (VFRS)

Walpole VFRS provides a critical rescue and recovery response to road accidents, structural fires and home fires around town. The nearest equivalent services are based in Denmark, 66 km to the east, and Northcliffe, 97 km to the northwest.

Walpole Me​nshed

Walpole Menshed has informal meetings every Friday, 10 am to noon, at the Walpole Community Hall. Any bloke is welcome to call in, make friends, have a tea or coffee and enjoy a chat.

Walpole, Nornalup and Districts Community Development ​​Group

The Walpole, Nornalup & Districts Community Development Group is the overarching group representing the community and acting as a conduit between other community groups and government for the overall benefit of Walpole and Districts.

Based at the Town Jetty on Jones Street, the VMR provides essential radio coverage for local and visiting boating and fishing enthusiasts.

Walpole Tidy Town​​s

Chaired by Adele Brown, Walpole Tidy Towns is primarily responsible for Walpole’s outstanding track record of success in the annual Keep Australia Beautiful Tidy Towns & Sustainable Communities competition.​ The group has been instrumental in Walpole achieving Litter-Free status, including a 100-kilometre stretch of Highway No. 1.
